Air India pilots strike. Flight cancelled. Surprise !!!

No sooner had I finished packing my bags and swallowing my first anti-malaria pill this afternoon, when Air India called to say my flight was cancelled and nothing was being re-booked till the 18th.  Turns out AI pilots are conducting wildcat strikes (sound familiar?).

Spent the next while on the phone w/ my travel agent but managed to get a new booking with Jet Airways (who?) so, if all goes well, I'll only arrive a few hours and a couple hundred dollars later than previously planned.
